HalalKart was created to solve a problem we experienced ourselves: finding halal products in Canada should be simple, trustworthy, and convenient.
Co-founders Wasim Ahmed and Uzma Umar Saji experienced firsthand how time-consuming halal shopping could be after moving to Canada. Finding halal meat and groceries often meant visiting multiple stores, comparing labels, checking certification claims, and spending extra time making sure products met their halal requirements.
We realized there was an opportunity to make the experience easier.
What began as an effort to connect consumers with local halal businesses is growing into a halal-only online marketplace designed to bring halal products, brands, and sellers together in one convenient platform.
